Frequently Asked Questions

Everything couples usually want to know before booking.

Is wedding videography worth it?
Absolutely. Your wedding day goes by incredibly fast, and a film lets you relive the moments you didn't even realise were happening — the voices, the laughter, and the atmosphere that photos alone can't capture.
Have you won any awards?
Yes! We've won multiple awards for Best Business, Best Photographer and Best Videographer across Yorkshire and the North of England, including the iDo Wedding Awards, North of England Wedding Awards, The English Wedding Awards and Three Best Rated.
What if we're camera shy and don't like posing?
Completely normal, and honestly most couples feel that way at first. We keep things relaxed and documentary-style rather than stiff and posed — within the first 20 minutes most couples tell us they've forgotten we're even there.
How long will I have to wait to receive our photos and film?
Delivery times vary with the season, but outside of peak wedding season it's usually around 4–6 weeks. We always send teasers within the first week, so you'll have something to enjoy and share straight away.
Do we need to provide food for you?
If a meal isn't provided, we'll usually need to step off-site for around 60–90 minutes to grab some food before evening coverage begins. Just let us know what works best so we can plan accordingly.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We each shoot on 2x Sony A7 IV bodies with multiple lenses, plus wireless mics for audio, lighting for dark venues, and plenty of backup kit.
What happens if you're sick on our day?
We're part of a trusted network of local photographers and videographers, so in the rare event either of us is unwell we have cover arranged to make sure your day is still captured.
Do we need to pay for your travel expenses?
If your wedding is within a 60 mile radius of Sheffield, you don't pay us anything extra. Outside of that, travel and accommodation may be applicable — drop us a message and we can chat it through.
Can we add a Storybook album after the wedding?
Yes — many couples add an album before the day, and others decide once they've seen their photos. We're always happy to design one, whether that's straight after delivery or months later.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, especially for popular summer dates. If you've already secured your venue, it's worth checking our availability as soon as possible.
